Strengthening Cash Movement with Armoured Bullion Fleet

February 18, 2022

Armoured bullion vans are now part of how we move cash across our operations.

The change follows the Bank of Ghana’s directive to replace soft-skinned vehicles. We moved early to align with that requirement and to improve how cash is handled on the ground. The focus was safer movement, tighter control, and equipment that reflects the demands of the work.

The new fleet is already in use across multiple locations. It supports daily movements, including high-volume activity, scheduled bank transfers, and routes that require coordination across regions. Each deployment is planned with greater attention to handling, routing, and supervision.

This upgrade also affects how our teams operate. Movement protocols, loading procedures, and escort coordination have all been adjusted to match the new standard. It brings more structure to the process and reduces exposure during transit.

Our teams work in environments where reliability is tested every day. The tools they use need to match that reality. The armoured vans support that standard while maintaining consistency for the institutions we serve. During the same period, we also supported the Ghana Police Service with equipment to assist patrol operations. Our work continues to rely on coordination, and that relationship remains part of how we deliver services across different locations.
